Ingredients
- 1 cup spinach
- 1/2 cup kale
- 1 banana
- 1/2 cup cucumber, chopped
- 1/2 green apple, chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 cup coconut water or almond milk
- Ice cubes (optional)
Instructions
- Rinse the spinach and kale and let excess water drain.
- Chop the cucumber and green apple into blender-sized pieces.
- Peel and slice the banana into chunks.
- Add the coconut water or almond milk to the blender.
- Place the spinach and kale into the blender container.
- Add the banana, chopped cucumber, and chopped green apple.
- Pour in the lemon juice.
- Add ice cubes if you want a colder, thicker smoothie.
- Blend on high until the mixture becomes smooth and even.
- Check texture and add more coconut water or almond milk if needed.
- Pour the smoothie into a glass or travel cup.
- Serve immediately and enjoy.
Notes
This smoothie can be stored in an airtight container for up to 24 hours. For a thicker smoothie bowl, reduce the liquid slightly.
