Ingredients
- 2 ribeye steaks
- Salt
- Black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Fresh rosemary or thyme
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- Take the ribeye steaks out of the refrigerator and let them come to room temperature for about 30 minutes.
- Preheat a skillet or grill over high heat.
- Season both sides of the steaks generously with salt and black pepper.
- Add olive oil to the skillet.
- Once the oil is hot, add the steaks.
- Cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side, then flip.
- Add garlic, herbs, and butter to the pan.
- Baste the steaks with the melted butter for additional flavor.
